Founder / President
Jay Lozoya was born in Pasadena, TX. As a youth, he was automatically surrounded by soccer. It started from street soccer with friends to recreational and competitive play. In the years of competitive soccer, Jay participated in many national soccer events such as: Dallas Cup, Disney Showcases, PDL Championships, USL combines, and even spent some time training in Monterrey, Mexico and overseas in Cordoba, Argentina.
After retiring from competitive soccer, Jay geared his focus to youth development training, This is when Iso Sports Performance Training was created. From what started as a side job and hobby, Iso gained momentum and became Jay’s full-time career. Throughout the years of sports performance training, Jay never lost sight of street soccer and small-sided games and how that could benefit youth soccer development.
Jay then founded Houston Futsal Association to be the first ever futsal program in the southeast region that carried out an open-play system allowing players from all clubs to enjoy the benefits of pick-up games.
Jay now plans to build Houston Futsal Association, by developing select teams by birth years and competing in city, region and nationwide Futsal tournaments.
Walter Anoruo was born in Lagos, Nigeria. As a youth, he grew up playing on the streets with his friends and has always been in love with the game. He moved to Houston when he was 11 years old and started navigation his way through the youth soccer seen. In his years of playing youth soccer, he participated in tournaments such as Dallas Cup, Surf Cup, Disney Showcases, PDL Championship, USL and MLS combines.
After winning a conference with A&M International, he moved to Europe where he played in Germany. Denmark and Norway. After his stent in Europe, Walter came back to Houston and solely put his focus on developing the youth in this area. He partnered with Jay Lozoya, to build a technical group training program with Iso Sports Performance, while also finishing school online.
What was a side job during school, then became the Director for Houston Futsal Association, and has helped develop curriculum, and has coached multiple teams for the club during tournament play.
Walter’s goal is to continue to help teach and grow the Houston Futsal Association program. He also wants to provide a platform for all kids to fall in love with soccer, through futsal, and grow the culture around the community and surrounding areas.

Edgar Castillo was born in Houston, TX. Growing up, he played football for 4 years, but fell in love with soccer in high school and claimed it as his new sport.
Since he grew up leaning from many different coaches, he always had a love for the process. So much so that when he first went to what was Iso Sports Performance, he quickly began helping as an apprentice coach. He stuck around for 5 years now and is one of our most experienced and trusted caches.
After graduating high school in 2014, Edgar became a tutor at San Jacinto College Central Campus and has been tutoring students since and is now a CRLA Level 3 tutor.
As well as coaching and tutoring over the years, Edgar has been studying mechanical engineering at the University of Houston at Clear Lake. He is currently doing research on tibia constructions models along other projects with Dr. Ariful Bhuiyan.
